1. The breeder guarantees that the breeder's cattery is FeLV negative.  This kitten has no fleas, no ring worm and is presently free of disease.  There will be NO refunds for this kitten.  The only exception for this kitten to be accepted for a full refund of purchase price if returned within 7 days with a veterinarian's certificate that this kitten has a health problem, provided the kitten has been HOUSED SEPARATE FROM OTHER PETS and in a clean and safe environment.  There will be NO  refunds for this kitten otherwise.
   
2. The buyer accepts responsibility of caring for this kitten and providing for its welfare. The buyer agrees to follow the breeder's instruction of care, housing, diet and health. The buyer agrees to keep this kitten to one room ie: bathroom for the first few weeks if the kitten is not supervised, to allow the kitten time to adjust to the new environment to avoid litter box issues.
3. The buyer will never leave the kitten alone for long periods without human attention. (over 24 hours)
4. The breeder warrants that this kitten is genetically sound.  If this kitten dies within one year of a genetic defect and that defect is evidenced in a Veterinarian autopsy report presented to the breeder, the kitten will be replaced with another at no additional cost except for shipping.  
5. Buyer agrees to have this kitten examined by his own vet within 3 days ________  and mail, fax or email results of exam to breeder.
   
6. To insure this kitten's health you will NOT allow your new kitten to play with any other animal for a full 2 weeks. This gives vaccinations a chance to build immunity within the kitten and also gives the kitten a chance to bond with you before bonding with other pets. 
7. This kitten will always receive prompt medical care and never be allowed to harbor parasites. 
8. Buyer will provide toys & exercise for this kitten and not cage it for prolonged periods of time without human contact. 
9. Buyer will not allow this kitten outdoors unless on a harness and accompanied by a responsible person. 
10. This kitten will not be sold or given to pet shop, shelter or similar facility. 
11. Buyer will contact breeder 1x monthly for the first 3 months or as often as needed to insure you & pet are happy together. 
12. This kitten will be neutered/spayed by breeder's Veterinarian prior to going to his new home at an additional fee.  Current charges are Neuters $100 and Spays $150. this can change if my Veterinarian changes prices for this surgery.
13. If for any reason the buyer cannot keep this kitten any longer the breeder reserves the right of first refusal to reclaim this kitten from the buyer.  The breeder has the option to find a new home for this kitten.
14. Buyer agrees that if any of the above terms are disregarded the breeder may reclaim the kitten with NO refund.  The buyer agrees to pay all court costs if this contract is litigated.  Litigation will be on Long Island, New York.
